February 7 - R&B Global Projects has organised the transportation of a dismantled mobile drill-rig from the Krapina-Zagorje province of Croatia to the port of Poti in Georgia.

From Poti, the cargo was moved by rail to Aktau, Kazakhstan.

The scope of R&B's work included craning, lifting and full trucking to the port, as well as loading and lashing onto the vessel, and subsequent sea freight.

"The cargo was not of a too outrageous size or weight, but it was more a challenge of coordination to get it all completed between the different remote areas involved," explained Dave Roosen, managing director at R&B.

R&B Global Projects recently joined the XLProjects (XLP) newtork as a Croatian representative.
