RollDock storms into action

January 31 - Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG) has launched the newbuilding RollDock Storm, the sister ship of RollDock Star, for Dutch owner RollDock BV.

RollDock Storm is now being completed at the yard's outfitting quay and prepared for its handover in May, while RollDock Star has already completed its first contracts by carrying a floating pavilion from Amsterdam to Gibraltar, and a river cruise ship from Fos to Bordeaux.

RollDock ordered the two 151.5 m long multi-functional specialised carriers to carry demanding and heavy project loads, which lie outside the scope of traditional cargo transport.
