The 5,800 tonne jacket will be installed by heavy lift vessel Oleg Strashnov. The 14,000 tonne transmission station will be installed using a float-over method in cooperation with subcontractor Dockwise.

The two pieces will be installed in the North Sea in the Sylwin Alpha cluster.

"We are very pleased that Siemens has awarded this important contract to Seaway Heavy Lifting. It affirms Seaway Heavy Lifting's position as a Tier 1 offshore installation contractor for the renewables market," commented company ceo Jan Willem van der Graaf.
