Stoltenberg joins Deutsche Bank

January 14 - Klaus Stoltenberg is to join the Deutsche Bank as its new global head of shipping on April 15, 2014.

Stoltenberg will be responsible for coordinating all Deutsche Bank activities with shipping industry clients, as well as managing the coverage team to leverage the broad product expertise in the best interest of clients.

Based in Hamburg, Stoltenberg will report to Raj Bhattacharyya, head of capital markets and treasury solutions for Western Europe, and Armin von Falkenhayn, co-head of corporate banking and securities for Germany.

Stoltenberg brings 15 years of experience in shipping and project finance to his new role.
