May 4 - Two out-of-gauge tanks manufactured by Chart Ferox have been shipped through the Wallmann terminal in Hamburg.

The two tanks had previously arrived into the port by inland waterway vessel from the Decin plant in the Czech Republic by Prague-based Godtrans.

They were then stored temporarily by Wallmann before onward shipment by Amasus Shipping's oceangoing vessel Moana.

Each tank, which weighed 234 tonnes and was almost 50 m length and 6 m in width, was loaded on the deck of the coaster in a tandem lift by two Liebherr LHM 600 cranes.

The tanks were then transported to Kokkola in Finland, where they will be used for storing oxygen and nitrogen at Kokkola Industrial Park, which started operations this year.

At the Wallmann terminal, a total of ten sheds and extensive outdoor spaces are available for storage of project cargo until shipment or delivery.
