Latest news from Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International Magazine

The Wednesday Wire - March 11th 2015

Your midweek round-up of news from the world of heavy lift and project forwarding.

The big news so far this week is Rhenus Group's decision to take over Swiss project logistics specialist KOG Worldwide, which has necessitated a remake of the business pages in the March/April edition of HLPFI that goes to press on Friday.

It's another weighty edition with the usual news, analysis and reports, and includes an interesting investigation into the financing of investments in the project shipping arena, which seems certain to include further mergers, acquisitions and takeovers in the near future.

This issue of HLPFI will also see the debut of our newest product, the Marketplace Directory, which allows providers of equipment and support services to promote themselves to executive decision makers involved in the global movement of heavy and over-dimensional cargoes.

If you do have any comments about the publication or would like to suggest some future editorial contributions of your own, please contact HLPFI's editorial team at and we will be in touch.
