September 10 - Topline Express Logistics handled the shipment of an air separation system from Shanghai, China to Surabaya, Indonesia.
The cargo included one cold box, which weighed 46 tonnes and measured 23.4 m x 4.2 m x 3.7 m, and four storage tanks, each weighing in at 34.7 tonnes and measuring 17.34 m x 4.25 m x 3.59 m.
When the vessel, Chang Pyung, called at Shanghai, a typhoon passed by the city - weather conditions which resulted in the operation of truck unloading and ship loading meeting great difficulty.
However, the staff on the site co-ordinated the operation between the dock and the ship captain to avoid long waiting of low-bed trucks and saved costs for the customer, says Franky Yu of Topline Express.
Topline Express Logistics joined the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in July 2011 as a representative in China.
