Multipurpose vessel operator Universal Africa Lines (UAL) has added a landing craft (LCT) to its roster, bringing its fleet to 15.
The LCT has space to hold 430 teu and is suited to calls at shallow-draught ports. UAL said the vessel provides its clients with greater variety and supplements its geared multipurpose vessel fleet.
Named UAL Trader, it has an overall length of 99.8 m and a beam of 25 m. The vessel is headed to drydock for one month and will be available in the Atlantic corridor thereafter.
