In common with Les Alizés, which was launched in January, Voltaire is due for delivery in the second half of 2022. Voltaire’s main crane can lift up to 3,000 tonnes and is capable of handling the next generation of offshore wind energy cargoes.

Voltaire is fitted with a high-tech jacking system; four 130 m-long legs support the vessel to achieve stable working conditions at water depths up to 80 m and with an elevated load of 16,000 tonnes. Its first job will be in the UK, where it will work on the 3.6 GW Dogger Bank offshore wind farm.
