The magazine is seeking an editorial assistant / researcher to be based in our company offices in Kent, UK.
You will need subbing and writing experience, but more importantly, you will need to demonstrate strong potential, and have interest / knowledge of international trade and development, as well as global freight transport issues.
The function would include reporting with insightful copy from press releases, conferences, events and interviews. You would be expected to be writing news items and longer analysis pieces in due course. You would also be responsible for handling editorial enquiries, filing and controlling the flow of editorial material. Research skills will also be essential and a willingness to travel overseas.
