UK-based project logistics specialist Osprey Group has launched a ‘year in industry’ internship and graduate programme.

Both programmes involve working alongside Osprey’s team of marine, civil and structural engineers who are charged with creating the best possible, end-to-end plans for clients in every sector. The rest of the time is invested in onsite experience, associated with specific projects either onshore or off.

Osprey said that the year in industry internships stand out for the amount of onsite experience that interns will receive over a 12-month period, while the graduate programmes offer access to a breadth and depth of end-to-end engineering knowledge.

Wendy Kenny, chief operating officer, added: “We have an incredibly diverse set of skills working within each one of our business units, and these are likely to be sought-after programmes. Whether it’s the marine engineering internship or graduate marine engineering programme, or the general engineering internship or general graduate engineering programme – we can’t think of anyone else offering exposure to the same variety of skills in such a compact experience, but that’s a reflection of our organisation’s multi-disciplined approach.”

Applications are invited from mechanical, civil, or structural engineering graduates who have sound mechanical knowledge, and are excited by the idea of working in a high-pressure environment. A valid UK driving licence is necessary, as both programmes will involve working on live sites around the country.
