Hansa Heavy Lift set to swap Bremen for Hamburg

December 9 - From January 2, 2012, Hansa Heavy Lift (HHL) will be headquartered in Hamburg.

The shipping line, currently operating from Bremen, has confirmed that it will transfer its worldwide business to its new premises at Deichtorcenter in Hamburg.

The decision to relocate to Hamburg was taken in August 2011, based on the importance of Hamburg as a global centre of the maritime economy.

HHL notes that Hamburg is the largest port in Germany and the second largest container port in Europe, providing an excellent maritime base, as well as facilitating the recruitment of qualified shipping personnel.

From January 2, the new HQ address will be:

Deichtorcenter, 4. OG, Oberbaumbrücke 1,20457 Hamburg
