January 7 - Moscow-headquartered AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), part of the Volga-Dnepr Group, has taken delivery of its third B747-8 freighter. The new aircraft made its first commercial flight from Seattle - Moscow Sheremetyevo via Hong Kong.

The B747-8F will be used on ABC's existing route network linking Europe, Asia and the USA with Moscow. The new freighter is a part of ABC's fleet renewal strategy; the average age of its fleet now stands at 4.1 years old.

The ABC fleet now consists of 11 B747 aircraft - five B747-400ERFs three B747-400Fs and three B747-8F.s
