BBC delivers to Brazilian terminal

February 20 - BBC Chartering's heavy lift vessel BBC Moonstone has shipped two mobile harbour cranes and two hoppers from Europe to Brazil's port of Rio Grande for use at the Yara Terminal.

The cranes were loaded onboard the 14,800 dwt BBC Moonstone, which has a lifting capacity of 800 tonnes, in Westdorpe, the Netherlands, while the two hoppers were picked up en route from Spain's Gijon port.

The equipment was offloaded in Rio Grande and installed at the Yara Terminal, which is currently improving its capacity for the handling of fertilisers and liquids.
