DB Schenker Rail rebrands

March 2 - Effective immediately, Deutsche Bahn's railfreight business - DB Schenker Rail - has been renamed DB Cargo.

All companies in Germany and abroad that currently have DB Schenker Rail in their name will be integrated into the new brand by the end of 2016.

Although Deutsche Bahn's rail business was combined into its new traffic and transport division in August 2015, the company's rail and logistics activities have been separated, with logistics operations being coordinated under the DB Schenker brand and railfreight activities under the DB Cargo name.
