Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Kenya and Tokyo-headquartered Yusen Logistics have signed a joint venture (JV) agreement to bolster their offering in East Africa.

The JV, which identifies Kenya as a key regional gateway, will offer a comprehensive range of services including freight forwarding, multimodal transport, contract logistics and Customs brokerage.
Aiming to improve connectivity between East Africa and international markets, the JV will leverage AGL’s strong African footprint with Yusen Logistics’ global network. The agreement was signed in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that Salim Raiss had been appointed managing director of AGL Morocco.
