Antwerp-based logistics specialist Aprojects has entered into a strategic partnership with South Korean vessel operator KCTC to enhance global transport solutions for large-scale LNG and nuclear energy projects across key global corridors.
The collaboration combines KCTC’s specialised fleet of heavy lift and semi-submersible vessels and technical marine solutions with Aprojects’ expertise in project cargo coordination. Eric Clonen, Aprojects chief commercial officer, said: “Together we are able to streamline complex supply chains involving extreme oversized modules, critical components and high-risk cargo.”
The partnership will have dedicated heavy lift capacity, whereby KCTC will allocate priority tonnage, as well as integrated projects teams “where joint engineering and project management teams will ensure a seamless end-to-end execution, from port or construction yards to final site delivery”, Clonen added.
