The purchase, slated to be finalised on May 1, marks the official establishment of Blue Water South Korea. Zodiac Solutions’ managing director Raphael Park will become general manager of Blue Water South Korea.

Thomas Bek, Blue Water’s chief operating officer for energy, ports and projects, said: “We are delighted to announce this important step in our expansion plans. The acquisition of Zodiac Solutions brings expertise and a valuable network, particularly in the logistics of diverse industries such as renewables, mining, oil, gas and industrial projects, general cargo sea and air, marine logistics and defence logistics. We have had the pleasure of working with Zodiac Solutions as a local partner for many years.”

With a team of experienced and local logistics experts, Blue Water South Korea will have a strong focus on the renewable energy sector.

In addition, Blue Water is set to further expand its presence in Asia with the opening of an office in Japan later this year. This expansion aims to strengthen Blue Water’s foothold in Asia and contribute to its global presence.
