Blue Water Shipping is expanding its network in the Middle East with the opening of an office in Iraq.
Located in Basra the office will strengthen the company’s presence in the region, said Blue Water.
Peter Ehrhorn, regional director energy, ports and projects Middle East, added: “We see an increasing demand for our services and the need to be closer to our global clients in this region. We believe local presence is key to develop ourselves and serve the logistics needs of our clients. It is a new country for us, however, we like challenges and finding new solutions to our clients in the more challenging markets.”
