Edwards Moving and Rigging is investing in its equipment fleet.

The Goldhofer units enhance the mobility, precision and flexibility of the company’s SPMT fleet, increasing both capacity and operational efficiency across a wide range of transport applications, Edwards Moving and Rigging said.

The ADDrive units offer higher manoeuvrability in confined spaces, optimised traction and improved energy efficiency.

The acquisition of the Enerpac SBL900 gantry, meanwhile, further strengthens Edwards Moving and Rigging’s lifting portfolio, enabling safe, controlled heavy lifting in environments where traditional cranes cannot operate. With lifting capacities up to 900 tons (816.5 tonnes), the SBL900 is well suited for industrial installations, plant maintenance, equipment replacements, and turnkey project work.

“This investment represents our commitment to supporting our customers’ most challenging projects while ensuring we remain at the forefront of heavy-lift and transport innovation,” said Tobias Epple, director of sales at Edwards Moving and Rigging. “Expanding our fleet with state-of-the-art Goldhofer and Enerpac equipment positions us for sustainable growth while delivering unmatched capability and performance.”

In August, HLPFI reported that private equity firm Core Industrial Partners had taken a stake in USA-based Edwards Moving and Rigging.
