USA-based maritime, logistics and energy solutions provider Crowley is consolidating its business by creating two divisions: shipping and logistics, and energy.

The shipping and logistics division will be led by executive vice president and division president James Fowler. It will serve commercial and government customers across ocean shipping, inland trucking and multimodal transportation, warehousing and other supply chain solutions.

Executive vice president and division president Kollin Fencil will head up Crowley’s energy division. This includes Crowley Fuels in Alaska, LNG and advanced energy solutions, as well as tank farm operations, engineering services, plus ship assist and offshore tugs and barges.

Fencil said: “Energy is a growth engine for Crowley, and this structure allows us to scale faster and innovate across traditional and emerging energy markets.”

HLPFI reported last month that Crowley had appointed Megan Davidson as its chief operating officer, succeeding Ray Fitzgerald.

Commenting on the restructure, Davidson said the realignment is intended to improve execution and support growth across Crowley’s business divisions.
