USA-based maritime, logistics and energy solutions provider Crowley has appointed Megan Davidson as its chief operating officer, succeeding Ray Fitzgerald, effective January 1, 2026.

Megan Davidson (left) is succeeding Ray Fitzgerald (right) as chief operating officer at Crowley.

Fitzgerald has served as the company’s chief operating officer for more than five years. He will continue as an advisor to Crowley as he transitions to retirement in 2026.

Davidson, meanwhile, was appointed Crowley’s chief people officer in 2021. In 2024, she also began leading functions over legal, risk, safety and environmental assurance as chief people and regulatory officer.
