Fracht Fwo, the USA-based subsidiary of Switzerland’s Fracht Group, has boosted its sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) team with two appointments.

Delfina Govia will lead the team as its chief sustainability officer and will focus on directing stakeholder-driven programmes in the North American market. Govia has 40 years of global experience in the energy industry, where she led organisations and activities in strategy and transformation, operations, and consulting.

Ralph Stierli, who has 30 years’ experience in freight forwarding and logistics, will take on the role as vice president of global ESG and sustainability.

In 2020, he led the launch of Solaris Global, a Fracht Group subsidiary specialising in warehousing and supply chain solutions for the renewable energy industry, where he will continue to serve as a member of the advisory board.
