August 8 - Logistics services provider Gebr

Operations at the new terminal commenced at the end of July.

"With the opening of the Györ branch, we aim to further strengthen our position in the region of Western Hungary", explains Thomas Schauer, country manager for Hungary.

A second reason for the expansion of the Hungarian network is the introduction of a truck toll in the country.

"The new location will enable us to continue to ensure economic production costs. Operating in Western Hungary from the central branch near Budapest is now more difficult due to the toll which has been introduced," Schauer explained.

At the new location in Györ, Gebrüder Weiss offers its complete range of services from overland transport, air and sea freight through to individual logistics solutions.

Gebrüder Weiss' Hungarian network also includes branches at Mosonmagyaróvár, Hajdúböszörmény, Dunaharaszti near Budapest and an air and sea terminal at Budapest airport.
