Juan José Macías launched Trainar back in 1989, selling customised trailers until 1997. Thereafter, it provided sales functions for a renowned manufacturer of semi-trailers and heavy-duty modules. The partnership with Goldhofer, which came into effect in June, expands Trainar’s portfolio to include its heavy-duty trailer range. “We are honoured to have won a well-experienced and established partner for our customers in this region. Trainar comes with a wide range of services that offer fast and straightforward support,” said Dennis Leschensky, director of sales Europe / North Africa at Goldhofer.

Goldhofer said that customers will benefit from access to new and used vehicles. Trainar also offers a documentation service for obtaining permits (such as TÜV, SERT or Scheda Tecnica) as well as modification files for technical inspection cards, for example when extension beams for low-loaders are added after initial registration.

When it comes to training, not only will operators be trained at delivery but the company also offers plans and tools for preventive maintenance programmes. Finally, Trainar takes care of customers’ spare parts inventories, while repairs and maintenance can also be in Trainar’s own workshop.
