Euroports France and EFGL selected Mammoet, whose French operation is based in Marseille, to support the offloading, staging and installation of turbine components onto the floaters.

Mammoet will utilise a 1,600-tonne capacity crane and SPMTs for the transport and lifting operations.

EFGL is a floating wind farm project developed by Ocean Winds (a joint venture of ENGIE and EDP Renováveis dedicated to offshore wind energy) and Banque des Territoires (Groupe Caisse des Dépôts). It consists of three wind turbine generators mounted onto three floaters.

Euroports France has been selected as general service provider in Port-La Nouvelle where all activities will take place.
