Oceanly aims to help players within the maritime industry to navigate increasing regulatory demands and operational complexity using data-driven decision-making. “It’s an honour to be appointed ceo at such a pivotal time for the industry,” said Lerche-Tornøe. “Oceanly has built a strong foundation, and our focus now is on helping customers cut through data overload, turning complex information into real-time, actionable insights that improve performance and sustainability.”

Lerche-Tornøe boasts more than 20 years of experience in the maritime and software sectors and, prior to this promotion, was general manager at the company.

In November 2024, HLPFI reported that Oceanly had warned on the downsides of an alternative fuel rush.
