Denmark-based Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has acquired 55 percent of Mali-based Macca Logistics, including its operations in Dakar, Senegal and Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The acquisition of Macca will provide SGL with a strong physical presence in Mali where it has provided logistics support to both government and non-government organisations for many years.
“Our companies have worked together in a close partnership for several years and we hold similar values and philosophies on providing our services and developing relationships,” said Scan Global manager Henrik Vind Kragh.
“Macca is an asset-based company, with its own trucks and cranes.”
