SC&R appoints officers

May 9 - During its annual conference in Arizona, USA the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) appointed officers to its SC&R Foundation - its non-profit organisation promoting research projects, scholarships, grants, and education in the hea

Jim Sever from PSC Crane & Rigging will serve a two-year term as president of the SC&R Foundation, while Dave Wittwer from Hays Companies will serve a two-year term as vice president. Jennifer Gabel of JK Crane was appointed to serve a three-year term on the board.

Nominated to serve committee positions were Margie Springer of Southern Industrial Constructors, Cameron Bragg of Bragg Companies, Karen Wood of Wheco Corporation, and Debbi Evans of Aspen Custom Trailers.

Awards were presented to two past presidents of the foundation: Toni Sabia from Transport Systems and Products who was appointed in 2001; and Earl Johnson from Southern Industrial Constructors who has been on the board since 1999.
