Finland-headquartered heavy and oversize transport specialist Silvasti has appointed Carsten Schröter as the ceo of its German entity, effective April 1.
Schröter has extensive experience in the global project logistics and special logistics sectors, joining Silvasti from Rhenus Group.
At Rhenus, Schröter was part of the founding group of the company’s project logistics division and worked in that part of the company for almost two decades. Most recently, he served as global director of Rhenus Project Logistics.
“With his extensive experience and equally extensive networks in the project logistics and special logistics industry, Schröter will help Silvasti develop our operations and sales efforts especially in continental Europe, as well as in other areas where we operate in,” Silvasti said.
