Van Beest gets Load Solutions

September 8 - The Van Beest Group, manufacturer and supplier of lifting accessories for wire rope and lifting chains, has acquired Load Solutions, based in Rådal, Norway.

Load Solutions provides lashing and lifting solutions to the transport and installation industry worldwide. Its main brand, Tycan, offers a link chain created from Dyneema fibre, which Van Beest claims has all the performance and flexibility of steel chain but at a fraction of the weight.

"Load Solutions is an industry leader with an innovative product portfolio that will support our growth strategy," said Evert van Beuzekom, vice president sales and procurement at the Van Beest Group.

Van Beest says the product portfolio of Load Solutions complements that of the Van Beest Group and will allow the combined businesses to offer customers a comprehensive range of rigging accessories.
