Project logistics solutions firm WR Logistics had appointed Marc Fischborn as managing director for Germany. Meanwhile, Toby Edwards has joined the company’s global advisory board.
Based in Germany, Fischborn will oversee WR Logistics’ operations across the country, heading up project delivery and customer engagement across industries such as engineering, manufacturing, petrochemicals, and energy. The role also includes strebgthening ties between Germany and key overseas marked served by the company, including the Middle East, CIS, Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
Fischborn has nearly two decades of international logistics experience, having held positions at thyssenkrupp Uhde, Fracht Group, Antwerp Global Shipping, and DAKO. He said: “My focus will be on delivering dependable outcomes for industrial clients and strengthening Germany’s role as a key hub within WR’s global network.”
Edwards, who has joined the company’s advisory board, will guide WR Logistics on global marketing strategy, brand positioning and communications. Based in the UAE, his role will support the company’s operations across Europe, the Middle East, CIS, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. He currently works for executive-level job discovery platform Confidential Jobs, where he is tasked with strategic marketing and startup advisory services.

HLPFI reported last week that WR Logistics is to open its inaugural Spanish office, this month.
