Nicolas Sauer has joined project logistics solutions provider WR Logistics as senior project manager in Germany, effective immediately.
Based in Düsseldorf, Sauer will be responsible for managing complex industrial projects, including heavy lift and out-of-gauge (OOG) transport operations.
He will work closely with WR Logistics’ global network to deliver tailored solutions, meeting the needs of industrial clients in Germany as well as overseas.
Bringing more than 25 years of experience in international project logistics, Sauer has held senior roles with DAKO Worldwide Transport, Geis Projects, Linde Engineering, and Fracht, where he managed large-scale transport operations for EPC clients worldwide.
WR Logistics has been busy lately, having appointed Marc Fischborn as managing director for Germany, along with Toby Edwards joining the company’s global advisory board. In addition, WR Logistics is set to open its first Spanish office this month.
