March 25 - Atlantic Ro-Ro Carriers (ARRC) is welcoming two new vessels - Warnow Venus and Warnow Sun - into its fleet at the end of March and beginning of April 2015.

The vessels will be added to ARRC's regular sailing schedule and will serve the trade lane between St Petersburg, northwest Europe and the US East Coast and Gulf ports.

Warnow Venus and Warnow Sun are 33,227 dwt multipurpose dry cargo ships, suitable for the carriage of breakbulk, project, bulk and containerised cargo. The vessels each have four 60-tonne capacity electro-hydraulic deck cranes.

ARRC says that the additional carrying capacity provided by the new vessels will allow it to restructure and streamline its sailing schedule, dedicating three Astrakhan-type vessels on a St Petersburg - US East Coast loop, and four 30,000+ dwt multipurpose ships on a USA and Mexican Gulf service.
