October 20 - Shuttlelift has delivered an SB50 gantry crane to Bull Moose Tube Company in Casa Grande, Arizona, USA.

The 50-tonne lifting capacity machine is the first Shuttlelift gantry to incorporate a unique C hook design to assist with the handling of large steel coils.

"The single beam design is a much better solution for single point lifts such as ours unloading large, 25-tonne-plus steel coils from rail cars and taking them to storage in our yard," said Greg Huff, vice president of technology and continuous improvement at Bull Moose Tube. "Add this to the standard use of an operator on the ground using a remote control, and the overall job has become much safer and more efficient for us than a limited/restricted sight-line cab operated machine."
