Konecranes has named Rob Smith as its president and ceo, effective February 1, 2020.
The current president and ceo Panu Routila has stepped down from the role, effective immediately. Konecranes’ chief financial officer and deputy ceo, Teo Ottola, will serve as interim ceo until Smith starts his position.
Smith joins the company from AGCO Corporation, where he most recently served as senior vice president and general manager, Europe and the Middle East.
