Crane Rental fleet keeps growing

August 13 - As part of its ongoing investment in its heavy haul division, Crane Rental Corporation has ordered three new Peterbilt four-axle heavy haul tractors with sleepers.

All of the units are equipped with 550 HP Cummins engines, 18-speed transmissions, and 20.8-tonne rear ends and lift axles.

Over the last 12 months, Crane Rental has also purchased several new cranes, including a Peiner SK415 electric tower crane, a 440-tonne capacity Manitowoc 16000 and 660-tonne capacity Manitowoc 18000 crawler crane, as well as a 600-tonne capacity Terex AC 500-2 and a 275-tonne capacity Grove GMK 5275 all-terrain hydraulic truck crane.

The company also added a high-capacity Trail King dual-lane transport trailer to its fleet.

"We are seeing increasing demand for our heavy haul services," said Crane Rental president Alan Ashlock. "We are investing in new equipment to continue providing excellent service to our customers nationwide."

Crane Rental Corporation is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in the USA.
