FLS skids into the New Year

January 5 - Dubai based Fleet Line Shipping has handled two skids, measuring 14 m x 10 m x 10 m and weighing 95 tons (86.1 tonnes) each, at Hamriya port in Sharjah, UAE.

FLS was required to unload the skids from a supply vessel using a 500-ton (453.5-tonne) capacity mobile crane. The company was also responsible for the transportation of the skids on a ten-axle hydraulic trailer to a storage area.
