July 24 - Liebherr has delivered a 750-tonne capacity LTM 1750-9.1 crane to Mexican crane contractor GMVykon.

The company purchased the LTM 1750-9.1 with a complete range of equipment, including Y guying, a telescopic boom extension and a 91 m luffing lattice jib. The nine-axle crane is the first new Liebherr model that GMVykon has purchased.

"The modern design of the crane, the fact that it can be driven with the boom, and its enormous load capacities and hoist heights make it an ideal crane for us, since we operate on a wide range of sites in Monterrey and throughout Mexico", said GMVykon owner José Cortez

Cortez added that Mexico has good prospects for large cranes due to many infrastructure, industry and energy projects. The new crane's first job involved installation work at a steel mill.
