MAX Trailer, part of the Faymonville Group, will introduce two heavy-haul trailers to the North American market: the MAX110 SD140 and the MAX510 LD140.

This comes after Faymonville only recently broke ground at its maiden USA production facility, in Arkansas. Both the MAX110 SD140 and MAX510 LD140 will be assembled at the Little Rock site once it is fully operational.

The MAX110 SD140 is a reimagined approach to the single drop trailer, with a compact and steerable 2+2 axle layout which is engineered for high payloads, improved manoeuvrability, and enhanced handling. It has an extendable deck, low platform height and generous axle stroke, offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of cargo, including transformers and other large components.

Equipped with a 126 in (320 cm) rear swing clearance gooseneck and able to work with a Joe Dog trailer, the MAX110 SD140 is suited for tasks where agility and precision are imperative.

As a three-axle double drop trailer, the MAX510 LD140 can be extended with a nitro-booster or a two-axle converter dolly, making it ideal for transporting oversized loads that would usually exceed standard height limits. It has an extendable ultra-low main deck that creates room for taller freight while improving stability on the road.

The MAX510 LD140 also has a hydraulic king pin steering system which provides control in tight jobsites or on winding roads, whilst its bolt-on coupling design means that the drop deck can be extended quickly and safely with additional inserts when extra length is required, said MAX Trailer.

Earlier this year, MAX Trailer launched the MAX710 lowbed trailer.
