Sarjak moves tanks

January 9 - Mumbai-based, Sarjak Container Lines has completed the transport of five LPG storage tanks.

Each tank was 30 m long and more than 4 m wide and weighed more than 60 tonnes, each. One is pictured below.

The tanks were successfully loaded and transported from Mumbai to Port Victoria, Seychelles on Scan-Trans' ship,Nina Scan.

Sarjak says that although there were few challenges in loading the tanks, their discharge and subsequent movement from the port to site was very challenging due to the lack of sufficient trailers and cranes on shore.
