Brazil-based Guindastes Tatuapé has received a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane.

The eight-axle crane offers 500 tonnes of lifting capacity and will be put to work for the assembly of a pulp and paper mill in Brazil.

Denys Garzon Rodrigues, commercial director of Guindastes Tatuapé, said: “The LTM 1500-8.1 is a very versatile piece of equipment.” In addition to the impressive load charts “the crane with its two boom lengths of 50 and 84 m, the luffing jib and the fixed jib offer everything you need for many requirements in our markets.”

The LTM 1500-8.1 will be the 27th crane Tatuapé has purchased from Liebherr in the last 20 years. Tatuapé said its fleet of mobile cranes is growing, operating throughout Brazil and the surrounding countries in South America.
