Germany-based crane manufacturer Liebherr has made a spate of sales to customers in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Germany’s HKV Schmitz + Partner has purchased a Liebherr 1500 crawler crane.
The 500-tonne capacity unit will replace an LTM 1500-8.1 telescopic mobile crane in its fleet.
Meanwhile, crane and heavy haulage contractor Sven Jinert in Sweden has taken delivery of an LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane and an LR 1750/2 crawler crane.
The LTM 1500-8.1, with a lifting capacity of 500 tonnes, is the second unit of this model that Jinert operates.
With a lifting capacity of 750 tonnes, the LR 1750/2 will be the largest crane in the company’s fleet.
In North America, All Family of Companies has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 mobile crane.
According to Liebherr, this unit was the 1,000th LTM 1200-5.1 it has produced. Originally launched in 2005, the mobile crane has a boom length of 72 m that can also be extended with lattice booms.
Elsewhere, Dubai-based Gallagher International has ordered five mobile cranes with lifting capacities from 50 to 300 tonnes.
The order comprises an LTM 1050-3.1, an LTM 1070-4.2, an LTM 1100-5.2, an LTM 1160-5.2 and an LTM 1300-6.2. Gallagher said the units will be mobilised on projects in the oil, construction and infrastructure sectors, as well as shipbuilding, communication and energy supply projects.
