Asia Shipping launches project cargo service and opens new offices

April 18 - Asia Shipping Transportes Internacionais, a Brazilian company which specialises in freight forwarding for ocean and air transportation, is launching a project cargo service and has announced two new offices to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

The project cargo logistics service was created to meet demand for future investment in Brazil over the coming years. "Because of the World Cup, the Olympics and Pre-salt Oil, we are investing in this segment", said Asia Shippingcommercial director Alexandre Pimenta.

In this department, Asia Shipping says it will develop logistics projects for oversize or super-heavy cargos that have different handling requirements. The company will determine the best transportation, loading,
unloading and customs strategy and provide full operational planning services, as well as timetables for each step in the logistics project.

The company has also opened two new offices in Belo Horizonte and Manaus.
