Astral supports drone services in Kenya

Japanese drone manufacturer Yamaha Motor Company has contracted Astral Aerial Solutions, an affiliate of Astral Aviation, for last mile air cargo delivery in Kenya.

As part of the deal, Astral Aerial Solutions will support the market entry of the Yamaha FAZER R G2 automated navigation unmanned aircraft.

Astral Aerial ceo and founder, Sanjeev Gadhia said the firm will promote the use of the drones in the Kenyan market for agricultural production services such as crop spraying, remote deliveries and overhead structural and civil engineering inspection functions.
