Bolloré Logistics Central China has delivered 53 oil and gas components from Lianyungang, China to Alexandria, Egypt.

The consignment had a total volume of 1,560 cu m and weighed 240 tonnes. Bolloré said it was the first time that it had used Lianyungang Deepwater Port, which is 500 km away from Shanghai in Jiangsu Province, as the export point for such a project.

The logistics provider said by choosing Lianyungang over Shanghai, it could provide the customer with a solution that was equally competitive yet economical due to differences in freight and port charges.

Bolloré also assisted the customer with route optimisation and cargo packing services.
