Crowley streamlines companywide customs brokerage services

October 17 - Crowley Maritime Corp has streamlined the customs brokerage services offered by Crowley and its subsidiary Customized Brokers Inc, with both teams now operating from a joint office in Miami, USA under the direction of Customized Brokers' Nell

Crowley says that this consolidation allows it to offer more comprehensive logistics packages to customers while strengthening the company's total capabilities. Customized Brokers, established in 1989, is Crowley's Customs brokerage company in Miami.

From this single office, Customized Brokers and Crowley's logistics team will continue to offer their traditional services that customers have come to rely on. Customized Brokers has built a reputation on consulting and clearance services.

Crowley's Steve Collar, senior vice president, logistics, says: "By offering company-wide compliance, clearance and consulting services through a single team of experienced logistics professionals, we can better meet the varied needs of our customers."

As a result of these changes, Chris Bustamante, manager, customs compliance and consulting, will now report to Yunta, and will continue to be based in Miami.
