DEME has installed 174 foundations for the Hornsea One offshore wind farm project, located 120 km off the Yorkshire coast, UK.

The project involved several vessels from DEME’s fleet; the jack-up vessels Innovation, Sea Installer and Sea Challenger were deployed for the installation of monopiles and transition pieces.

DEME’s newest jack-up vessel Apollo removed the existing met-mast and decommissioned a twisted jacket foundation.

The company was also responsible for the collection and transport of the components. Barges and transport vessels were hired and operated from the project’s base port – Able Seaton in the UK.
