January 16 - Fairstar Heavy Transport has successfully loaded the drilling rig, Energy Exerter onto its heavy transport vessel Fjord in Kirkenes, Norway.
Fairstar is working for Northern Offshore UK Ltd. to transport the Energy Exerter from Kirkenes, Norway to Kavalla, Greece. According to Dave Hangoor, Fairstar operations manager: "The temperature conditions at 17 degrees below zero made this load-out one of the most challenging and demanding operations imaginable. The safety of the entire team is always our priority and I am pleased that the operation was successfully completed without any incident. We look forward to warmer weather when we offload in Greece!"
