Hellmann adds to management team

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Sven Eisfeld as managing director, Germany and Volker Sauerborn as chief operating officer of the company’s contract logistics division.

Eisfeld has worked at Kuehne + Nagel in Hamburg for the past ten years, most recently as vice president, regional sales in northern Germany. He will be responsible for the operations of all of the business units in Germany, with a focus on cross-divisional collaboration, said Hellmann.

Sauerborn also joins the company from Kuehne + Nagel and succeeds Robert Bommers, who left Hellmann during June.

Both Eisfeld and Sauerborn will join the company on November 1, 2019.
